The London School of Science & Technology (LSST) is delighted to announce that it has partnered with Buckinghamshire New University to grow its next generation of graduates.

As one of the UK’s largest independent colleges, LSST is now set to provide prospective students access to a larger range of high quality courses at its London, Luton and Birmingham campuses.

The partnership allows students to gain Buckinghamshire New University degree qualifications in Business, Computing, Health and Social Science, and Health and Social Care.

The first cohort of students, starting in September 2018, will be offered a variety of courses that are uniquely positioned to help them branch out into their selected careers.

Mr Syed Zaidi, LSST’s Founder and CEO, said: “This is an exciting new venture for both institutions and I am delighted to take the next step in LSST’s expansion with Buckinghamshire New University. The partnership provides opportunities for LSST students and staff alike and we look forward to welcoming the new cohorts this September.”

Mr Ali Jafar Zaidi, LSST’s Marketing and Admissions Director, added: “We are extremely excited to work alongside Buckinghamshire New University to expand our range of pathway programmes. This is in recognition of assisting the growing number and diversity of students studying at LSST.”

Mr Sean Mackney, Pro Vice-Chancellor at Buckinghamshire New University, said: “The University is excited about the potential opportunities offered through this new partnership. LSST’s ethos supports our aims as a widening participation institution and we look forward to working with them as they welcome their first cohort of students.”

LSST aims to support the government’s widening participation policy that focuses on ensuring every student has an equal chance to further their education. LSST has successfully operated partnerships with the University of West London and London Metropolitan University, since 2013 and 2016 respectively.

The partnership with Buckinghamshire New University is just the next step in LSST’s ambitious plans. LSST is currently focusing on building more UK partnerships with further education colleges, schools, community organisations and strategic bodies to expand their reach and encourage more learners to aspire to university.
