On Thursday 21st July, LSST students celebrated the completion of their studies as they took part in a summer graduation ceremony held at Wembley Stadium, with nine achieving first class honours.
Students from the BA Business Studies and BSc Computing and Information Systems top-up programmes concluded their studies with a formal celebration amongst students from the University of West London (UWL), who accredit the degree courses at LSST and hosted the ceremony. The 2016 graduates were joined by family, friends and lecturers for two of three ceremonies that took place during the day.
Istvan Toth, one of the top graduating students, expressed his joy at the ceremony, stating: “I feel extremely proud and happy at being awarded a first class degree and I am excited to start building a successful career.”
Amongst the LSST graduates, nine achieved first class honours with Hussain Al-Fatlawi awarded the highest individual grade on the Computing and Information Systems course at both LSST and UWL. Syed Rizvi, who leads the course at LSST, was overwhelmed with pride for his students.
BA Business programme leader Anup Bista said: “I would like to congratulate our students on the success they have achieved through their hard work and dedication. I am confident that with the knowledge and skills acquired, they all have a bright future ahead of them.”
Principal Dr George Panagiotou added: “Here at LSST, we are student-centred and our aim is to provide our students with an educational journey that is second to none.
