‘The significance of Dr Bose’s chapter lies not only in its scholarly rigour but also in its practical relevance for organisations grappling with the complexities of workplace adaptability’ added Mr Syed Rizvi, Academic Dean of LSST’s Elephant & Castle Campus and Dean of Learning & Teaching. ‘By illuminating the linkages between workload and organisational support, her pivotal research provides a roadmap for fostering a supportive and conducive environment for staff.’

Dr Bose’s latest paper, a cornerstone of her ongoing research into employee adaptability at the workplace, has garnered significant acclaim. Recognised with the Best Paper Award at the ‘International Conference on Innovative Research Practices on Social Sciences 2021,’ this paper went on to earn a place of distinction in a prestigious Routledge publication.

‘Dr Bose delves into the intricate dynamics of workplace adaptability, exploring how various factors such as workload and organisational support influence employees’ ability to navigate organisational changes,’ added Mr Ali Jafar Zaidi, LSST’s Deputy CEO. ‘Central to the discussion is the examination of locus of control, wherein individuals’ beliefs—whether in their own agency or through external factors like luck and destiny—shape their responses to career progression and development.’

‘I have been driven by a deep curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape of work’, said Dr Bose. ‘My research dedicates itself to understanding how employees navigate these transformations’. For over a decade, she has passionately delved into various aspects of employee life, focusing on topics ranging from workplace attitudes to generational differences in work ethos, all the way to adaptability in dynamic work environments.

With a robust academic background, including a doctoral degree from the esteemed National Institute of Technology in India and a postgraduate management degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Dr Bose brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to LSST students. Her previous publications in reputable journals, including those indexed in Scopus, along with her multiple accolades for best paper awards in various conferences, attest to the calibre of her scholarly contributions.
