The School’s libraries offer a welcoming environment in which students can work. They are able to read and borrow a range of books, access newspapers and journals and take copies of authorized texts within the copyright guidelines.
The recommended textbooks are available to borrow and also reference copies for use in the library only. Our students have access to a variety of e-journals though EBSCOhost plus ebooks and subject specific databases.
Our librarians provide one-to-one Harvard Referencing sessions on request and assist with searching for books, uploading assignments through LSST Connect and accessing lecture notes via the student portal.
The Learning Resource Centres on each campus provide quiet areas where students can work, either to conduct research or write up assignments. There are computers available which allow students to search the internet, access lecture notes, write and submit assignments and check email accounts. They can also bring in their own laptop and connect to the School’s WI-FI network. Furthermore there are several study desks and lockers available to provide safe storage during the day.
