To support all applicants in meeting our entry standards and succeeding in their studies, we require all students applying to our undergraduate courses to complete an English Language test.

At LSST, we use MyEduTest to deliver our English and Maths assessments . The school is a trusted third-party provider whose English Language assessment is carefully mapped to the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) framework. This ensures a reliable and consistent measure of English language proficiency across all applicants.

Who Needs to Complete the Test?

All applicants are required to complete the English Language test regardless of:

> Their country of origin

> Whether English is their first language

> Previous qualifications or language certifications

This requirement helps us ensure that every student is prepared for the academic expectations of undergraduate study at LSST.

Strong English language skills are essential for success in higher education. By assessing all applicants in a consistent way, we can provide better academic support, ensure fair admissions practices, and set all students up for success from day one.

What You Need to Do

Once you apply and you have completed the first stage of the Admissions process, you will be given instructions on how to complete the English Language test. The test will take place on-campus under exam conditions. The test must be completed as part of the admissions process and your application cannot progress without it.
