Want to get into construction, either as a self-employed tradesperson or working for an employer?

From September 2026, London School of Science & Technology (LSST) will be delivering accredited construction qualifications from our dedicated Construction Training Centre in Wembley — with additional support to help you gain your CSCS Green Card, build employability skills, and develop the digital skills employers expect.

Courses Available

• NOCN Level 1 Diploma in Painting and Decorating
• NOCN Level 1 Diploma in Plastering
• CSCS Green Card preparation (Labourer)
• Employability and digital skills support, built into every course

All courses are delivered part-time, making them ideal if you’re balancing work, family or other commitments while building a new career.

Funding Available for Eligible Learners

Eligibility for our Level 1 courses is straightforward – there’s no need to already lack a qualification or fit an age-banded entitlement. Your course may be fully funded if you:

• Are aged 19 or over
• Live in a Greater London borough
• Meet UK residency eligibility requirements
• Are unemployed, or earn below the London Living Wage as an annual gross salary

The London Living Wage threshold is set by the Greater London Authority and updated annually – visit the Living Wage Foundation website for the current rate, or contact us and we’ll check your eligibility for you.
