LSST Announces Eniana Gobuzi as New Associate Dean for Elephant and Castle Campus

LSST is delighted to announce the appointment of Eniana Gobuzi as the new Associate Dean for its Elephant and Castle, London, campus, recognising her proven leadership, academic expertise, and commitment to fostering an innovative and inclusive academic environment. 

 

Eni has been part of LSST since 2017, initially joining as an Academic Tutor. Her career quickly progressed, with her appointment as the Course Coordinator for UWL Business in 2019, followed by her promotion to Course Leader for UWL Business in 2020 and then Programme Manager in 2021. Most recently, she served as the Academic Team Leader for Business and Health. 

Throughout her tenure at LSST, Eni has consistently exhibited outstanding leadership and a vision for the future. Her ability to inspire and guide others has earned her the respect of students and colleagues alike. Her leadership style, characterised by inclusivity and innovation, has played a crucial role in advancing the campus’s strategic objectives. Given her track record, it is no surprise that she was selected for this important role. 

Reflecting on the appointment, LSST’s Deputy CEO, Mr Ali Jafar Zaidi, said, ‘We are delighted to welcome Eni as our new Associate Dean. Her strategic oversight and commitment to academic excellence and community engagement are exemplary. Eni brings a unique blend of experience and insight that will undoubtedly drive LSST Elephant and Castle to new heights. Her appointment reflects our dedication to fostering diverse, vibrant, inclusive and academically rigorous campuses.’ 

Charlie Tennant, LSST’s Vice Principal, commented on the appointment’s impact, saying, ‘I look forward to Eni contributing to Student Outcomes above and beyond sector standards. Her leadership will also play a critical role in shaping the future of LSST Elephant and Castle. We all look forward to seeing her impact as she leads the campus towards achieving its strategic goals and inspiring a new era of growth and innovation.’ 

Syed Rizvi, LSST’s Dean of Learning and Teaching and Academic Dean at Elephant and Castle, remarked on the new role: ‘Eni’s academic background and extensive experience in educational leadership equip her well for this responsibility. She will oversee the strategic direction, operations, and management of the campus, and her unique insights will contribute to LSST’s broader strategic goals.’ 

Eni, speaking about her new appointment, said, ‘It’s an honour and a privilege to lead LSST Elephant and Castle into its next phase. During my time as Academic Team Leader, I witnessed the dedication and talent of our Elephant and Castle students, staff and alumni. I am eager to continue our work together to build a campus known for its academic excellence, creativity, and community spirit.’ 

Eni’s appointment has been warmly received by LSST’s community, with many looking forward to the new initiatives and collaborative opportunities she will bring to the campus. Her commitment to academic excellence and fostering a strong community is expected to leave a lasting impact on LSST and its broader educational goals.

  2. I have had the honour and privilege of working with Eni at different professional engagements, most recently on the planning and hosting of the Annual LSST Research Symposium at the E& C Campus. Eni’s sense of duty, teamwork, and attention to detail speak volumes of her leadership capabilities.
