LSST Birmingham Career Fair Provides New Paths for Students

LSST Birmingham hosted an extraordinary Careers Fair on 15 May 2024, highlighting the importance of how such events facilitate the professional growth and success of LSST students. The Careers Fair was a resonating success, connecting students with over 20 leading employers across various industries and offering invaluable insights into their prospective career paths.

With representatives from distinguished organisations including the Department for Education, West Midlands Police, Marks and Spencer, National Careers Service and Mencap in attendance, the Careers Fair provided LSST Birmingham students with unparalleled opportunities to explore a myriad of career options and engage directly with recruiters on the day.

James Platt, Career and Employability Manager at LSST, who facilitated the event, highlighted the importance of fostering connections between students and employers. The LSST Careers Fair serves as a stand-out moment that provides LSST students with a powerful platform to engage with potential employers and seek lasting career guidance.’
