LSST Wembley hosted its flagship Career Fair (13 October 2026), bringing together over 100 ambitious students and 10 leading regional and national employers for an intensive day dedicated to career discovery and networking.
“LSST’s Wembley Career Fair was a triumph for our campus community,” said Charlie Tennant, Vice Principal of LSST. “The energy was electric, bringing student ambition face-to-face with industry demand. Beyond hosting an event, we helped ignite career pathways and demonstrated the exceptional calibre of talent LSST brings to the modern workforce.”
“Our career events are deliberately designed to bridge the gap between academic study and the contemporary job market,” added Ancuta Racasan, an LSST Business alumna who now works as Careers and Employability Officer at LSST Wembley. “The fair offered students direct access to a wealth of employers that provided clear entry points across a diverse range of sectors.”
“These well-organised career events give students very valuable access to employers,” said Aasfieq Moosa, LSST’s Student Union President. “It’s really inspiring to see students having meaningful conversations about their career options and learning which skills employers value in today’s changing job market.”

Exposure Across Broad Sectors
A standout feature of the fair was the broad range of industries represented. By avoiding a single-industry focus, the event ensured that students from across all academic disciplines could explore multi-route career pathways tailored to their own ambitions.
“Empowering our students with direct access to key employers sits at the very heart of our academic vision,” said Mohammad Haider, Academic Dean of LSST Wembley. “Seeing students from all courses actively engaging with major sector representatives reinforces our commitment to connecting the classroom with real-world professional success.”
The healthcare and social care sectors were represented by Wembley NHS Blood Donation and Home Instead. Representatives highlighted vital clinical, public health and community support roles, offering students a clearer understanding of modern healthcare delivery and management.
Meanwhile, the built environment and infrastructure sectors drew significant attention from students interested in property development, engineering and project management. Major industry players including Arada, Mace Group and Morgan Sindall introduced students to large-scale infrastructure projects and key entry-level pathways.
Commercial consultancy and enterprise support were championed by Grow London, Grey & Co, MTL, and Alexander James Group. These organisations offered key guidance on business, financial services, entrepreneurship and consultancy. Additionally, public service and civil administration opportunities were highlighted by representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
The success of the Wembley fair highlights LSST’s drive to boost graduate employability. By offering regular networking events and career workshops, LSST helps students build the real-world connections necessary to launch rewarding careers.
