LSST is proud to receive the highest praise from Ofsted for its exceptional Skills Bootcamps provision. The news reaffirms LSST’s commitment to equipping local learners with the skills, confidence and expertise to excel in the workforce.

During Ofsted’s visit in February 2025, 67 adult learners were completing their Skills Bootcamp, with 19 still in the training phase at LSST Wembley. Following the inspection, Ofsted praised LSST’s strong vision for its Skills Bootcamps and commended its strategic collaboration with external stakeholders to offer courses that directly address local skills gaps.

Employers like the Clermont Hotel Group, Santander, and Howden Insurance shaped the programme through guest lectures, field trips and direct recruitment. Impressed by the skills learners gained, Ofsted highlighted that LSST leaders “work very effectively with stakeholders to ensure training meets both learners’ and employers’ needs.”

Ali Jafar Zaidi, LSST’s Deputy CEO, explained: “At LSST, we are pioneering a seamless integration of Further and Higher Education, creating transformative opportunities for underrepresented learners. We don’t just respond to the evolving job market – we help shape it. This Ofsted recognition reinforces the power of our model, equipping learners with the critical skills, networks and confidence to succeed.”
